    Tackle vehicle crime, reduce serious violence and anti-social behaviour.

    Action taken:

    Local policing officers have been working in partnership with the local council and housing to address issues raised by residents. They have held community action days to promote the great work in the area and support services they have access to. Officers have provided a visible presence through randomised visits and utilised specialist trained officers in plain clothes, on off-road bikes and drone team to tackle the issues. A number of ASB warning letters have been issued and arrests made for drug use and general youth causing annoyance.

    Action taken:

    Regarding drug dealing in Parr Community engagement surveys have been completed in multiple locations where drug dealing has been reported. All relevant intelligence from these surveys has been submitted to relevant department.
    Regarding the deliberate fires, multiple youths have been identified as being involved in anti-social behaviour & setting deliberate fires. All youths were issued ASB Warning Letters & referral forms completed. There have been no issues reported since this intervention. Officers provided a visible presence in hot spot locations and during the Halloween period 5 youths were issued ASB warning letters after being stopped in possession of eggs.
    Regarding ASB in the area joint visits with Riverside Housing, Community Engagement surveys & Joint agency meetings with St Helens Council & Housing over problem addresses in Parr area have been held. An action plan created with tasks issued to partners. 2 x Pre Community Protection Notices have been issued to problematic tenants, and a further Pre CPN issued to a male causing ASB on Broad Oak Road. Reports have drastically decreased since these actions.

    Action taken:

    Local Policing Officers continue to provide randomised high visibility patrols to Gaskell Park, they have conducted partnership walkabouts in the area with the PCC, Stop Hate UK, council members and housing to increase intelligence and raise awareness of issues in the area. Officers have gathered evidence of ASB from a problematic address and are now looking at a closure notice.

    Drug dealing and related anti‑social behaviour in Gaskell Park and the surrounding streets has been a key community priority. Police activity is ongoing and includes high‑visibility patrols and targeted hotspot policing to disrupt offenders and reassure residents. Officers are working closely with partner agencies, who have already secured a civil injunction against individuals involved. Evidence has also been gathered to support closure orders on problematic addresses linked to the issues.
