We are appealing for help in finding a man from St Helens who is wanted on a no bail warrant for a theft offence.
Detectives have issued a CCTV image of a group of people to come forward to assist with their enquiries following an assault in St Helens last month.
Update at 5.30pm: EOD have assessed the device and it is no further threat to the public. The scene has now been stood down.
We are appealing for information following arson at a business site in St Helens yesterday, Tuesday 26 May.
A man has been arrested after a warrant was executed at a house in St Helens where suspected crack cocaine, cannabis and a significant amount of money was seized.

Local policing officers have been working with internal and external partners to combat anti-social behaviour in Taylor Park. They have increased patrols, held bike marking events to engage with the community and conducted school visits to advise and deter against this behaviour. They have conducted reassurance visits to the businesses affected a recent spate of thefts. They are working with owners to identify offenders, scrutinising CCTV and providing a visible presence at key times.
