Persistent antisocial behaviour remains a key concern across the neighbourhood, particularly within Birkenhead Park where groups of young people continue to be linked to nuisance and disorder issues that impact public confidence and enjoyment of the park.
In Noctorum, residents have reported ongoing problems with scrambler and off-road motorcycles being ridden on open land, specifically the grassed area at Needham Crescent, causing alarm, nuisance, and safety concerns for the local community.
Collectively, these issues are affecting residents' quality of life and perceptions of safety within public spaces, making them priority areas for neighbourhood policing and partner intervention.

Police have responded to concerns within Birkenhead Park through a combination of high-visibility and targeted patrols, including foot, bicycle and mobile patrols, aimed at deterring antisocial behaviour and providing reassurance to park users. Officers have worked closely with council partners, park staff and community representatives, including participating in a multi-agency walkabout to assess issues and agree coordinated actions.
Proactive policing activity has included intelligence-led deployments, stop and search activity and efforts to identify those responsible for offending and damage. In addition, QR code letter drops were conducted following reports of drug use in the area, and community surgeries have been held in Birkenhead Park and Noctorum to engage with residents, gather intelligence and address local concerns.
