  • Priority:

Speeding on Ferry Road and Bridle Road remains a key concern raised by local residents, alongside reports of anti-social behaviour in the Bridle Road area.
Persistent anti-social behaviour has also been identified in the alleyway behind the shops on Allport Road, which serves as the primary access route for nearby flats and continues to affect the quality of life of local residents.
Additional concerns within the area include a potential unauthorised traveller site being prepared at Eastham Rake, the presence of a rough sleeper on Lyndale Avenue, and ongoing environmental issues relating to the illegal waste dumping site behind Starbucks on the A41.
These issues have been highlighted through community engagement and partner agency discussions and remain priorities for neighbourhood policing and problem-solving activity.

    Issued 04 September 2026

    Action taken:

High-visibility patrols will continue in identified hotspot areas to deter anti-social behaviour, provide reassurance and gather intelligence.
Officers will engage with residents and local businesses, review CCTV opportunities, and provide crime prevention advice where appropriate. The neighbourhood team will also work with partner agencies to address concerns relating to the potential traveller site at Eastham Rake, support efforts to locate and assist the rough sleeper on Lyndale Avenue, and liaise with the Environment

    Actioned 04 September 2026
