Our Auditor’s Annual Report (‘AAR’) summarises the work we have undertaken as the auditor for the Police and Crime Commissioner for Merseyside (‘the PCC’) and the Chief Constable of Merseyside Police (‘the CC’) for the year ended 31 March 2024. Although this report is addressed to the PCC and CC, it is designed to be read by a wider audience including members of the public and other external stakeholders.

The responses have been gathered through youth-led engagement events such as workshops, outreach stands, one-2-one interviews, targeted surveys, and social media campaigns.
