Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is a group of Merseyside police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Merseyside.
ASB in Garston Under the Bridge
Issued 06 April 2026
Currently the main focus for Garston ward is anti-social behaviour under the bridge. We have received reports from the community that they are concerned about groups of youths causing ASB and criminal damage around the area. We have been working hard to combat this and to date there has been an increase in presence in the area, we are working with the council to install CCTV, we have introduced education into the schools and the Mini Police, we have provided funding for diversionary activities and are looking at various ways to tackle the offenders.

Parking Around St Marys Road
Issued 06 April 2026
From feedback in the community we are aware parking around St Marys Road is an issue and these issues have increased whilst the road works have been in place. To combat this we have set up a Winter of Action Plan which aims at increasing patrols at key times to target offenders and we have also been working closely with partners to tackle the issue from a more joined up perspective.
