Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is a group of Merseyside police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Merseyside.
Recent community feedback highlights a noticeable rise in anti‑social behaviour around Bebington Road and Church Road, particularly involving:
Groups of young people congregating in the area
Reports of noise, nuisance, and behaviour perceived as intimidating by some residents
Incidents occurring mainly during evenings and weekends
Concerns regarding the unsafe or anti‑social use of high‑powered electric pedal cycles
Community Impact
Residents have reported feeling increasingly unsettled and, at times, unsafe as a result of these issues. The presence and use of high‑powered electric pedal cycles also raises additional concerns around public safety, potential illegal road use, and ongoing nuisance behaviour.
