Mercer Road / Tollemache Road: We are aware of reports of youths gathering, anti-social behaviour and the use of illegal e-bikes in the area. Patrols and engagement activity will continue, and we would encourage residents to report incidents so we can target resources effectively.
Beechwood tensions around ASB and criminal activity: We understand community concerns regarding ongoing ASB and criminal activity. Local officers are monitoring community tensions and we have increased patrols in the area.
Fireworks around North End: With the approach of the November period, we are receiving reports of fireworks-related nuisance and anti-social behaviour. Patrols will focus on identified hotspots, and we encourage residents to report incidents involving misuse, disorder or danger to the public.
Action taken:
In response to these priorities, Neighbourhood officers are conducting targeted patrols in identified hotspot areas to tackle anti-social behaviour, youth nuisance, criminality and the illegal use of e-bikes.
Officers are engaging with local residents and partner agencies, taking enforcement action where appropriate, and increasing patrols around North End ahead of the bonfire season to address fireworks-related nuisance and provide reassurance to the community.
