Community feedback from recent neighbourhood policing surgeries has again identified two primary concerns within the Bromborough Rake area:
1-Youth-related anti‑social behaviour and criminal damage.
Residents have reported ongoing issues involving groups of young people engaging in anti‑social behaviour, including acts of criminal damage and general nuisance. These incidents are adversely affecting both the sense of safety and the overall quality of life for those who live and work in the area.
2-Noise and disturbance linked to the night‑time economy
Concerns have also been raised about noise, disruption, and distress caused by individuals leaving local licensed premises during the late evening and early morning hours. This behaviour is contributing to community tension and impacting residents’ ability to enjoy their homes without disturbance.
Issued 04 June 2026
The neighbourhood policing team will focus on the following priorities:
Delivering high‑visibility patrols at key times to deter youth‑related anti‑social behaviour and criminal damage
Targeted engagement with young people, parents, and partner agencies to address behaviour and identify underlying causes
Working closely with licensing officers, local venues, and the council to reduce alcohol‑related disorder and promote responsible management of the night‑time economy
Using appropriate enforcement powers where necessary to protect residents and prevent repeat incidents.
