We are responding to community concerns linked to drug activity in several areas of the ward. Over the last month we are aware of reports of drug dealing taking place from residential properties in the northern end of the ward towards Crown Street.

We continue to work closely with our partner organisations, including local councillors, the Cathedral Constables, Housing Associations and other key stakeholders, to deliver a coordinated response to the issues affecting the area.
Officers carry out regular patrols and engage with residents, businesses and community representatives. These conversations help us better understand local concerns, identify emerging issues and gather valuable information that supports ongoing policing and problem-solving activity.
We have conducted a number of proactive operations, utilising a combination of high-visibility patrols and plain-clothes officers to disrupt criminality and anti-social behaviour. This activity remains a key part of our approach to keeping the area safe and responding to concerns raised by the community.
We are aware of reports relating to a group of males believed to be involved in drug dealing in the vicinity of Falkner Gardens. Officers are actively responding to this issue through targeted patrols, intelligence-led activity and engagement with partner agencies. However, public information remains vital in helping us build the fullest possible picture of what is taking place and identify those responsible.
Information provided by residents, businesses and members of the community continues to play a crucial role in helping us target our activity effectively. We would encourage anyone who witnesses suspicious behaviour, drug-related activity or anti-social behaviour in and around Falkner Gardens to report it to police or Crimestoppers anonymously. Every report helps strengthen both the police and partnership response to this community priority and supports the development of effective long-term solutions.
We continue to work alongside partner agencies, schools and local organisations to take positive action, tackle offending and develop intelligence.
